Agriculture and Farming

Agriculture is the science of cultivating the soil, growing crops, rearing livestock for the purpose of producing food, plant and animal products such as cotton, wool and leather. It involves the process of producing crops, raising livestock and usually, marketing the produce for sale and consumption.

There are different types of farming ranging from aquaculture, dairy farming, agroforestry and poultry farming. Each type specializes in different agricultural ventures such as crops or livestock.
