Paramedical courses are job oriented medical courses that are designed to train students to deal with real-life medical situations. These courses are related to the allied healthcare sector and are known for making competent healthcare professionals. The scope for employment in the paramedical field is increasing with each passing year due to the growing demand for trained paramedics in our country.

Students must complete Class 12thwith 50% aggregate marks with science stream(Biology as a compulsory subject) to be eligible for admission in paramedical courses. However, the criteria for admissions might vary from college to college. Admission to certificate and diploma paramedical courses is direct. However, entrance examinations are conducted every year for admission in bachelor's, master's, and PhD programmes.

Bachelor of Operation Theatre Technology

This is a three-year degree program in Operational Theatre Technology. This course deals with training students to work and manage the OTs (Operation Theatres). The basic eligibility standard for this course is 10+2 with 50% in the science stream.

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is an undergraduate degree programme that focuses on curing and treating people who are emotionally, mentally, or physically challenged. To get licensed for practising Occupational Therapy, candidates need to get a national level certification after completing the course.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is the study of physical movement, with an aim to prevent or cure diseases related to movement and disability. BPT is an undergraduate physiotherapy course with duration of 4.5 years.

BSc Medical Lab Technology

BMLT is a three-year undergraduate programme in medical laboratory technology. For admission to this course, students need to get a minimum of 50% marks with PCB in their class 12th. This course covers the diagnosis and treatment of numerous diseases in the laboratory. Students learn how to perform a variety of laboratory tests in this course.

Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapists are paramedics who specialise in occupational therapy and occupation science. Through the therapeutic use of everyday activities, they treat patients who are ill, injured, or disabled.

Medical Laboratory Technologist

Medical Laboratory Technologists conduct complex tests and procedures in laboratories to help other healthcare professionals, like physicians, in detecting, diagnosing, and treating diseases.
