Former Jincheon National Athletes' Village President Yoo In-tak (65) has donated his gold medal and final wrestling uniform from the Los Angeles Olympics to help build the Jeonbuk Sports History Memorial.

At a ceremony to donate sports artifacts held at the Jeollabuk-do Sports Hall on the afternoon of the 13th, Yoo handed over 10 items, including the LA Olympic gold medal and the final wrestling match uniform, as well as government sports medals, national medals, and trophies, to Jeong Kang-sun, chairman of the province's Sports Ministry.

"I am deeply grateful for the donation," 스포츠토토 said Chairman Chung, "and I will do my best to help Jeonbuk regain its reputation for athletic strength."

Yoo, whose hometown is Kimje, Jeollabuk-do, won a gold medal in the 68-kilogram freestyle wrestling event at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA.

In particular, he moved the nation when he appeared at the awards ceremony in a wheelchair and shed tears during the national anthem.
