If you decide to visit London on your next vacation and need information about how to get from the airport to the city, this text can be very helpful. Try to know in advance which is your destination airport, in order to be able to precisely organize your trip to beautiful London.

London is a huge city with an impressive tourist influx. A metropolis prepared to receive millions of visitors every year and with four airports perfectly connected to the city.

The most common way for travelers to get to London is by plane, so it is interesting to know beforehand how to make the transfers from the airport you are going to travel to.

There are four international airports in London: Luton, Stansted, Gatwick, and Heathrow. Here we tell you how to get to London from each of them.

The Luton Airport is 50 kilometers from London and, despite being somewhat small, it is one of the most popular airports in the city; This is largely due to the fact that it is chosen by the low-cost companies that operate in Europe.

Service transfer
The best way to get from Luton to London is using the Transfer service; which is the transfer (which must be booked in advance) that allows us to have a driver who will be waiting for you in the hall when you arrive at the airport and will take you to your hotel at a cost that is usually around 28 GBP. We consider it to be the best because it is the fastest and the service is not excessively expensive.

You can book your transfer service (shared) for € 32 approx.

How to get from Luton to London cheap
Bus - The cheapest option
The most used option, however, is the EasyBus bus that will take you from the airport to the city center at a very affordable price. The disadvantage is that this bus must be reserved in advance and that, sometimes, it is difficult to find space with a short time in advance (it should be said that we have bought Easy Bus tickets in other time zones and they have always allowed us to travel although the schedules do not coincide when boarding the bus). Another con of this type of transport is that the trip lasts about an hour and a half. Which can be a bit tedious if you've been on a plane for a long time. The positive is that the trip will cost you less than 8 GBP. The bus stops at different places in London, the most common places are Victoria Station and Baker Street (places where you can easily buy a transport voucher and connect to the tube to go directly to your hotel). EasyBus is the most economical option to go from Luton airport to the city center.

Another company that transfers from Luton airport to the city of London is Terravision, although in general, their rates are slightly higher.

Luton Taxi / Private Car - London
Finally, you have the taxi, but we do not recommend that you choose this means of transport unless you travel in a group of 4 people with little luggage. Not only because it is not the fastest, but also because this trip can cost you around € 130 (per group), so we recommend you opt for one of the above options if you do not want to start the trip wasting money.

Here you can calculate the transfer price and make the reservation on-line.

Like Luton, Stansted Airport is used by budget travel companies to operate year-round. It is located about 56 kilometers from the city and receives millions of passengers every year.
