Why do parents need a nanny for their children

We live in an age where you have to work hard to give a good life to your children. It is never easy to give your children the life they want. There is no way you can provide that without money. Giving a good life means earning a good amount of money. But while we make ourselves busy, it becomes difficult for us to give our time and care and hence, some children go far from their parents.

But we need to understand that whatever they are doing, they are doing it for their children. At times it was very difficult for parents to leave their children at home. But now, many people are providing nanny services for those parents. Most people get confused about a nanny and a babysitter, but both are very different.

There is one similarity between them is they take care of the babies. In previous times there were only female nannies, but now with time, males have also started this job, and there is also a male nanny agency, from where parents can also opt for male nannies. There are some basic differences between a nanny and a babysitter; let me explain those in this article.

What are the criteria?

·        Time

The huge difference between a nanny and a babysitter is that baby sitter is not permanent, but most nannies are permanent. Baby sitter is called for a particular time, like for an hour or so, although, sometimes baby sitter agency provide babysitter who even works for 24 hours, on that basis they are paid money. And the major difference is nanny does not work for several families at a time, but babysitters do.

·        Works

Do not be confused between their works as both of them have different works. A babysitter does not work more than 6 to 7 hours. People usually call them if the parents have some urgent work or are out on a date. Still, they do not do anything extra they take care of the child and play with them.

In contrast, a nanny takes care of the child and does every work related to a child, like picking up from school, getting them ready for school, preparing food for them and feeding them, taking care of their daily schedule. Many more, usually nannies do this job, and they do this job to understand the parental skills, but a babysitter does this as a part-time job and does this job to earn some extra money.

There are so many other criteria through which they are different. They are not paid the same money; nannies get paid more as they work full time, whereas baby sitter does not pay that much; they are paid the basis of hours. But in the end, both take care of children in the absence of parents.
