How to Take a Picture on a Chromebook OS Device?

- First of all, click on the launcher menu, you will find this at the bottom left corner of your device.
- After that, click on the search button and search for the Camera and click on it.
- This will open a web camera. By default, the camera will open in landscape orientation.
- Now you will see the shutter button on the right side, click on it to take pictures.
- Also, you can select a video option for making videos on Chromebook and square for click square snap with equal portrait and landscape dimensions.
That’s all, as you snap pictures, a little picture thumbnail will appear at the right bottom corner.
You can click on it to view larger images or press shutter for more web pictures.
If your Chromebook is in tablet mode, then you can take a snap, just pressing up and down volume buttons.
How to Locate Your Saved Camera Photos?
You can view your clicked photos from the Chromebook camera app or from the file manager.
From there you can edit, delete and share your snap with buddies and family members.

Locate Picture From Chromebook Camera App.
When you take pictures a little thumbnail appears of your recent image at the right bottom corner.
By clicking on it, you can directly view your recently clicked picture and can edit, delete and share it from there.
If you no longer want that image, you can click on the delete icon to delete and then confirm the delete.
Locate Picture From File Manager.
- First of all, click on the launcher menu, you will find this at the bottom left corner of your device.
- After that click on the search button and search for Files and click on it.
- The camera default directory can be found at My Files > Download.
- You will see there your clicked picture.
