UPSC CMS


Medical Officers for various government departments are hired through the USPS CMC Combined Medical Services Examination. According to regulations of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare published in the Gazette of India, the Integrated Medical Services Examination is conducted. The total number of applicants selected for Type I and Type II is 179 and 343 respectively.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • MBBS is the required education for UPSC Combined Medical Service Examination.
  • candidates must be citizen of India,  subject from Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan.
  • The UPSC Integrated Medical Service Examination has 828 vacancies this year.
  • Admit cards are usually distributed within 16 days of the completion of the examination, so as of November 1, 2021, the admit card will be issued.
  • A qualifying list will be published on the UPSC's website after the results of the CMS examination have been published.
