Thermal reduction seamless welded pipe

The whole welded pipe is heated to 920℃-950℃, rolled and extended by the tension reducer and air-cooled, which completely eliminates the difference between the weld structure and the base metal structure. The structure of the weld seam and the base metal are consistent, and the seamlessness of the welded pipe is fully implemented. Seamless steel pipe is an important new field in modern steel pipe production, and it is one of the main directions of the development of the steel pipe industry today. The seamless, deep processing of high-quality steel pipes is a new method of high-quality, low-consumption and high-efficiency production of modern steel pipes.

There are four ways to realize the seamless technology of electric welded steel pipe: one is, the overall heating tension reduction rolling of the welded pipe; the other is the cold rolling heat treatment of the welded pipe; the third is the overall heat treatment of the welded pipe; the fourth is the online heat treatment of the welded pipe . In terms of technical indicators and economic benefits, the overall heating tension reduction rolling method of the welded pipe is superior to the other three, and the variety is flexible and the efficiency is high, which is an ideal choice.

Compared with seamless pipes, seamless welded steel pipes have less investment, high productivity, low metal and energy consumption, and uniform pipe walls, that is, internal quality is even better. Especially in the field of medium and thin-walled carbon steel, which is the largest amount of seamless steel pipes, the advantages of seamless welded steel pipes are more significant than seamless pipes.

Production process of seamless welded pipe

Eliminate internal burr qualified welded pipe - heating - descaling - tension reduction - sawing - cooling - straightening - flat head - flaw detection - inspection - packaging

According to the specification and length requirements of the finished pipe, the welded pipe is sawed by a fixed-length saw and then the gas is passed through the roller hearth heating furnace for overall heating. It is heated to 920℃-950℃, and the high-pressure water descaling device removes the micro-iron oxide and then enters the tension reducer to roll the finished tube. The superposition speed of the tension reducer is controlled by computer to ensure the accuracy of the wall thickness of the steel pipe. During the rolling process, it is ensured that the final rolling temperature is not lower than 850 °C to meet the process requirements of forming a fine and uniform grain structure after rolling. .The rolled steel pipe is sawed into fixed-length pipes in a hot state, and then enters the cooling bed to be air-cooled to room temperature. Finally, the steel pipe is straightened, flattened, flawed, and pressed for inspection and then bundled and packaged.

Tension reduction technology

Tension reduction can produce a hundred kinds of finished pipes with one steel pipe dimension.Because tension reduction rolling changes the outer diameter of a tube, a finished stand can be replaced in ten minutes, and it only takes a few seconds to adjust the speed of the auxiliary motor when changing a wall thickness. And by adjusting the speed of the main motor to increase the speed of the entire production line, this kind of adaptability cannot be achieved by any other pipe rolling equipment. This can greatly simplify the billet, roll specifications and roll changing requirements of the welded pipe, which can not only increase the output of the welded pipe unit by 30%-50%, but also reduce consumption and improve quality. If cold-drawn pipes are produced without tension-reducing steel pipes that are as close to the finished size as possible, the profits of cold-drawn pipes are 50%-200% higher than those of conventional methods.
