Five Ways to Enjoy Your Music Files

Let's say that you have a thousand MP3 files stored on your hard drive. How do you enjoy these files? To listen to these files, most people will use Windows Media Player. But did you know that there are more creative and interesting ways to playback MP3, WMA, and WAV files.

Let's look at five of these methods.

Use MusicMatch Jukebox

You might be wrong if you believe that all digital music programs on a PC look exactly like Windows Media Player. There are many programs that offer more functionality than the Windows Media Player. Musicmatch Jukebox is one such program. Musicmatch Jukebox is the best digital music player in the world. You can playback many music formats, including audio CDs, MP3s and Internet streams. It also supports music ripping, CD burning and music organization. You can even automatically tag your music files using detailed information and album art with the Plus version!

Make use of a portable MP3 player

The market has taken off with portable music players such as the Apple iPod, Creative Nomad, and Rio Nitrus. Digital music doesn't need to be restricted to your laptop or desktop computer. You can take your music with you wherever you go using portable music players. You can take thousands of songs with you wherever you go because MP3 and WMA formats are small. Check out my review here of the top five portable music players. You also have other options for portable music, such as handphones that support MP3 and others with MP3 capability.

Use a PDA

You can use your Pocket PC, or Palm-based personal digital assistants (PDAs), to play music. You can also insert a large memory card, such as 64 MB. You can store 64 MB of MP3 and WMA files. Once you have connected a headset, open the music software on your PDA and you are good to go. My personal HP iPaq2210 keeps me organized and doubles as a music player.

Your Car Stereo

This is how I listen to my MP3 music. A car stereo can play back native MP3 tracks. The car stereo can play hundreds of MP3 files from a data CD. It does not work with conventional car stereos. You can create an audio CD using your music files if you don't have a car stereo. The car stereo will be able to play back and interpret the audio CD. You'll only be able to play around 14 to 17 tracks in this instance.

Your Home Stereo

A home stereo is a must-have for soundcloud downloader music lovers. You can use it to play your MP3 music files. Be aware that home stereos are not capable of playing back MP3 files natively, just like car stereos. A newer home stereo set will have MP3 playback capabilities. Many new models by Pioneer, Panasonic, Pioneer, and Sony have MP3 playback capability.

Conclusion

There are many ways you can enjoy your digital music collection. I prefer to listen to digital audio files via my car stereo or portable music player. You may prefer to listen to music on your desktop or laptop. You can choose which one is best for you, and then go for it!
