2.Take the training course of 30 hours divided into 4 days and an assessment of 1 day.

3.During training, a person will be taught all the level-1 topics to prepare for the assessment.

4.It is required to finish the assessment within 60 days of training completion.

5.This assessment will be conducted by Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) in a written and practical format.

6. Once passed a Level-1 assessment, a person is issued a certificate, a card with 3 years’ expiry, and a log book to maintain working hours on the rope.

7.The progress to Levels 2 and 3 can be made by spending 1000 working hours on each level.

8.IRATA technicians should undergo the re-validation training and assessment after the expiry of every 3 years to ensure safety in working.
