New England Coffee: All You Need To Know

New England Coffee is a third-generation family enterprise run by the Kaloyanides and Dostu families. It is a corporation that values customer service and product excellence. In 1916, the first coffee was hand-roasted and carried by horse and cart from a single building. New England Coffee has expanded to become New England's largest independent coffee roaster, occupying five facilities.

All goods contain only the finest Arabica beans. The beans are fresh-roasted and come from Central America, South America, Eastern Africa, and the East Indies, and they have a constant taste and quality. Flavored, Decaffeinated, Light & Medium Roasts, Dark Roast, and Seasonal Blends are all available in New England Coffee.

Origins of New England Coffee

The origins of New England Coffee can be traced back to the Old World, namely to a family who made their home in Greece. In 1910, Menelaos Kaloyanides and his brother George Kaloyanides emigrated to the United States from their native country of Greece. By 1916, Menelaos was the proprietor of a prosperous restaurant in Boston; nonetheless, he yearned to launch his enterprise. As a result, he established the New England Tea & Coffee Company with the assistance of his brother George and his cousin Megaklis Papadopoulos. They carried the coffee to restaurants all around the city from their location in Boston, which was at the Milk and Broad Streets intersection.

The company earned a reputation for consistently producing high-quality coffee and coffee beans over time. The organization expanded its delivery scope and the number of customers it served as its reputation rose. Despite the many shifts throughout the years, the dedication to providing exceptional services has never faltered.
