Microsoft releases 3D renderings to write Raspberry Pi

Network 3D Printer connects the printer with the local network.

Almost all the old-fashioned paper printer in the store is online, but 3D printers are for.

Now is the Microsoft cure it, by means of a new Raspberry Pi application.

The program, with the clear name Network 3D Printer, running on Windows 10 IoT Core and connects 3D printers with the local network via ethernet or wifi.

At the release is support for 13 pieces of 3D printers including Lulzbot, Maker Gear and Ultimaker, but Microsoft promises to add more models soon.

The printers supported:

Lulzbot Taz 6

Maker Gear M2

Printrbot Play, Plus and Simple

Prusa i3 and i3 Mk2

Ultimaker Original and Original

Ultimaker 2 and 2

Ultimaker 2 Extended and Extended
