Airbus company AP Works begin selling an electric motorbike that is printed from a 3D printer and weighing only 35 kg.

By building up the framework of the thousands of layers of powdered metal, each only 30 micrometers thick, AP Works to build a structure optimized for strength and low weight.

It had not been possible with conventional manufacturing techniques, argue AP Works.

They have used an aluminum alloy called Scalmalloy, commonly used in the aerospace industry.

The motorcycle is powered by an electric motor with power 6 kW, and torque is 130 Nm.
