Philip K. Dick s science fiction short story, The Minority Report, foresaw a future in which prescient mutants can predict and prevent crimes, and help the Precrime division apprehend criminals before any crime is committed.

And how precise must a prediction method be?

An Israeli startup may help us answer at least some of these questions with their facial personality profiling software, which they claim can identify terrorists, academics, professional poker players, and pedophiles by facial features alone.

Supported by computer vision and machine learning technology, Faception has catalogued various classifiers that their software uses to analyze character, behavior, and personality traits with a high level of accuracy.

How accurate?

The software identified four players who would excel – two of whom made it to the final three.
