The next opponent for Anthony Joshua will reportedly be Jermaine Franklin. He anticipated making a comeback to the ring to face a more recognizable opponent, but it was not to be.

According to BoxingScene.com, Franklin will square off against Joshua. They settled on the terms of a showdown that would take place on April 1 at London's O2 Arena

The 29-year-old American has a professional record of 21 wins, 11 of which were knockouts, and only one defeat. By consensus, this was stated in his final presentation before Dillian Whyte.

If AJ and Whyte both prevail over their upcoming opponents, this is anticipated to be the obstacle before their showdown. There will be two 12-round heavyweight matches.

Finally, he also spoke about his participation in 'Creed III'. Although he said it was very brief, it was an honor to be part of it, since the 'Rocky' saga was an inspiration when he started in boxing.

"It's not a role like you might imagine, but I'm in it for like two or three seconds; however, it's an honor to have participated in one of the sagas that drove me the most when I was young," said Alvarez.

"I used to watch Rocky movies to motivate me when I started boxing and now it is a privilege to be in such an important film."
