Andhra Pradesh Former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who is in Davos to attend the ongoing World Economic Forum Summit, met several top corporate heads there to attract investments in the state. During the Andhra Pradesh Investment Session, Chandrababu Naidu gave a demonstration of the advantages and investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh. Top Indian businessmen like  Prakash Hinduja, Atul Punj, Adi Godrej,  Vinod Mittal, Rajeev Mittal,  and a Siemens representative spoke at the session. They praised Chandrababu Naidu for his vision, and leadership and expressed interest to invest in Andhra Pradesh. 


At that session, Spanish delegates invited Chandrababu Naidu to visit Spain, study their bullet train model, and explore smart cities and tourism models. They also told the Andhra Pradesh delegation that they will visit Andhra Pradesh soon. In a meeting with Global Agenda Council (GAC) India team, which comprises several top industrialists and academicians, Chandrababu Naidu briefed them about challenges and investment opportunities in the new state. The TDP Government had ruled the state for more than a decade under the presence of the founder NTR and is continued by Nara Chandrababu Naidu with a vision for the future of the state and made it possible for the future generations with the help of many Top TDP Leaders and Best TDP MLA Candidates and the news regarding these meetings were held live on TDP Live Updates.



“The Global Agenda Council (GAC) team discussed various measures for increasing the effectiveness of governance. They suggested that the capital city should have developed and integrated with social infrastructure to increase livability. The next meeting between the Core Team and Andhra Pradesh officials is likely to be held in Abu," the statement said.


Chandrababu Naidu also held a meeting with the Chairman of Bharat Forge, Baba N Kalyani, and Executive Director Amit Kalyani.  During the meeting, Kalyani said they are interested in investing in Andhra Pradesh in three areas of defense technologies, especially missiles. He apprised that a pre-requisite for developing missile manufacturing units is the eco-system around it such as a center that will allow frequent testing which is closer to an airport. Such testing centers require permission from the Airport Authority of India (AAI) and the state government of Andhra Pradesh. They requested for facilitation of such permissions.


Chandrababu Naidu told them about the Single-Desk initiative (clearing investment proposals) and assured them of approvals within 21 days. He suggested that Anantapur or Kurnool would be suitable for setting up facilities in defense technologies, Krishnapatnam-Yerpedu-Tirupati for investments in auto components manufacturing, an ecosystem of auto manufacturers in Sri City and Chennai, the release added. The TDP Contributions made by the government have become Top TDP Achievements.
