Characters
The hidden descendants wiki contains information about characters from Disney's Descendants series. The series is a spin-off of Disney's Beauty and the Beast film. It follows Ben, the king of Auradon and the son of Belle and Beast. He offers a chance of redemption to the trouble-making offspring of Cruella De Vil (Carlos),Maleficent (Mal),The Evil Queen (Evie) and Jafar (Jay).
Mal and Uma were archenemies in the first two films, but the two became friends before the end of the third movie. They even put their differences aside to save Auradon.
Chad (portrayed by Jedidiah Goodacre) is the son of Cinderella and Prince Charming (Cinderella). He's distrusting of the VKs, as shown when he gets pushed by Jay, and Evie sprays him unconscious with a tranquilizer in the first movie. He is also one of the villain kids on the Isle of the Lost and in Auradon, and he was the target of Mal's wand in Descendants 2.
Dizzy Tremaine (portrayed by Anna Cathcart) is the granddaughter of Lady Tremaine from Cinderella. She works at the "Curl Up & Dye" salon on the Isle of the Lost, and she is chosen by Evie to go to Auradon in the third movie.
Unknown to Mal and the other VKs, an unknown girl (possibly Lonnie) is filming Auradon Prep with a hidden camera before the arrival of the villain kids. The footage is released to the public, and it reveals all kinds of attitudes, secrets and anxieties before the arrival of the villains.
Traits
Traits are the things that make a character unique. They can be gained or lost through events and some traits can be inherited by descendants. They affect everything from their personality, reputation, abilities and physical characteristics.
Personality traits can affect how much Stress a character receives for actions or decisions that conflict with their trait. They also determine how resistant they are to another character’s Dread or other personality traits.
These traits can be obtained or strengthened by completing Lifestyle events, Activities events and Court positions. Those traits can be further reinforced with the final perk of each Lifestyle tree or as a result of Lifestyle Decisions.
Court type traits are only available if a character has been a courtier for at least 5 years. To obtain a level 1 trait they must have reached Grandeur Level 5. For a level 2 trait they must have reached Grandeur Level 8.
Lifestyle traits are based on the character’s lifestyle or culture. These traits can be obtained as a result of Lifestyle events, Activities events or Court positions and reinforced with the final perk of each Lifestyle trees.
A character can have up to 3 Personality traits and Health traits. These traits affect how much Stress a character receives and their ability to recover from certain diseases.
They also impact their overall reputation in the world, and how well people treat them. Some characters will only have one personality trait, and others will have more than 3.
Health traits lower a character’s health and can be spread from character to character through Diseases. These traits can be removed from a character by disabling the Show graphic diseases and injuries option in the settings menu.
