Svevia soil washing, which has produced promising results in small-scale attempts to wash the soil from PFOS.

Now wash tested on more contaminated lots in two rounds.

- The masses from Arlanda had at least one order of magnitude higher contamination levels than the first test, says Marie Eriksson, project manager at Svevia.

Soil Washing managed to remove about 95 and 85 percent of the pollution.

Now considering Svevia on water purification in soil washing can be improved.

The water is re-used by being purified with charcoal filters and sometimes creates a bottleneck in the process when the water must be purified several times.
