For some reason every superpower has to come with a downside.

The X-Men, for example, are rejected from society for being mutants.

It turns out it can, you just need to be a mad scientist like Colin Furze, and build your superpowers yourself.

In Furze s latest series of videos, he turns a mish-mash of insulated tubing, compressed cylinders, valves, and a vat of liquid nitrogen into a wearable rig that gives him the same powers as the X-Men s Iceman—mostly.

His blast range is limited and he probably couldn t survive a day in the Arctic without a snowsuit, but with his newfound scientific powers Furze can freeze water, air condition a room, and even make his own ice cream.

What else could you ever really need from a superpower?
