Google AI reduced cooling costs for data centers by 40 percent

Google acquired British AI now Deep Mind for half a billion dollars in early 2014.

Artificial intelligence can also be used to solve physical problems, something Google takes in a blog post.

Deep Mind's artificial intelligence has namely machine learning and neural networks managed to reduce cooling costs in the Google data centers by 40 percent.

According to Google, they are now out about 3.5 times more computing power from the same amount of energy as compared to five years ago.

Google believes that companies using their cloud services so as to increase their own energy efficiency.
