Previously the app relied entirely on cloud processing, but that meant performance was dependent on occasionally bottlenecked servers, as well as your phone s data connection.
Now you can use the app regardless of how many selfies are bombarding their servers or you have bad cell service.
Not all filters will initially be available, and they intend to update the Android version with the same feature soon.
It s certainly interesting that were able to implement their magic neural network algorithms on a mere iPhone.
