Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge getting May Android security patch

p Samsung is rolling out May Android security patch for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

The update first started with the unbranded version of Galaxy S7 with firmware G930FXXU1DQE7 weighing in at 343MB.

The rollout then expanded to the S7 Edge devices.

Along with the latest security patches, the update for the S7 and S7 Edge brings usual stability and performance improvements and bug fixes, reports Galaxyclub.

According to Samsung's Android security bulletin for May, the company has addressed as many as 54 common vulnerabilities and exposure (CVE) items, and also patched 11 security flaws.

The May update includes patches from Google.
