TCL Alcatel has officially launched the Alcatel 3C, the entry-level phone that appeared in a leaked press render a couple of days back.
Although exclusive to Italy at the moment, the device is priced at €129.99 SIM-free and unlocked, and is expected to be showcased at the upcoming MWC in Barcelona where a general pricing will be announced.
It is available only in Metallic Black, Metallic Blue, and Metallic Gold color options.
Made entirely of a plastic body, the Alcatel 3C only selling point is probably its 6-inch 1,440×720 display with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio (and a 76% screen-to-body ratio).
Other than that, all other specs are entry-level.
The device houses the 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT8321) chipset which is paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with the provision to add in a 128GB microSD card.
