A research team at the German Computer Graphics Lab and the Max Planck Institute for Informatics has, with the help of artificial intelligence developed a system that can make it easier and cheaper to 3D-modeling in the future.

With the system's help, you can reasonably well generate a 3D model based on only a few seconds of film with a standard video camera.

the Process consists of three steps where the first is to shoot the person for a few seconds, when it spins a lap.

Then they separated the different contours from the movie in order to be used as a basis for the 3D model and in the final step you can color and "dress" the model.

When the models are ready, it is just to draw them in any 3D modeling programs and start playing around with the models.

the Results may not reach up to the same height as with the other options to create 3D-models.
