is the decision through the need all households and businesses will soon recover at least 55 percent of its waste.

the EU is working towards becoming a greener economy.

As part of this, the european Parliament has on Wednesday voted in favour of the proposal to both households and businesses should recycle at least 55 per cent of its municipal waste by the year 2025, reports Euractiv.

next comes the requirement to be strengthened by a further one per cent up to the year 2035, when the level should be 65 percent.

the Euractiv report that the EU produced 2.5 billion tonnes of waste in 2014, of which a third came from the construction sector and around one tenth from the hushållskonsumtion.

Generally speaking, recycle we all the more, but the differences between EU countries are large.
