The upcoming 3rd installment of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will feature all the heroes in the red suit you have seen up until now.

It has been reported that the plot planned for Tom Holland’s third Spider-Man film will be similar to the 2018 game Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Tom Holland will, of course, don his superhero suit again for the third time after impressing immensely in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

What is interesting about the third film is the report by FandomWire that suggests that Andrew Garfield and Tobey  Maguire will be appearing in the film.In case you are one of the rare gems that still have no idea how Andrew Garfield and Tobey  Maguire are related to Spider-Man, let me jog up your memory.

He starred in the blockbuster trilogy of the early 2000s, where he played Peter Parker and was supported by Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane, James Franco as Harry Osborn, and Rosemary Harris as May Parker.

Sam Raimi was the creator of the trilogy.Andrew Garfield was also the face of Spider-Man for two movies, i.e., The Amazing Spider-man(2012) and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014).

When Marc Webb and Andrew Garfield were making their Amazing Spider-Man movies, Sony’s plans were incredibly ambitious.

Now, in a new interview with Den of Geek, Webb confirms the plan was to make Sinister Six before he and Garfield came back to do a third Spider-Man movie.

They were going to make a Sinister Six movie before we did the third one.

And then there was that character called The Gentleman.

We had some notions about how to do it, but I think maybe we were thinking too far ahead when we started building in those things.

Webb goes on to say that the plan was for the Goblin to lead the Sinister Six, which also would have included the Vulture.

Current Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, whose Spider-Man: Far From Home is out soon, says he'd "love" to act in a live-action Spider-verse movie with former Spidey actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

"Of course, I would love to make a movie with those guys, it would be so cool," Holland said in the below interview with film critic Jake Hamilton.

"It would be amazing, it would be really, really cool.

And it's something that the fans really want.

So whether Marvel and Sony decide to do that, it's up to them."

There'd be an age difference, of course.

It was the dream that didn’t happen.

We all hoped that, somehow, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland would have cameos in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Well Holland, who’s currently busy with Far From Home press, has revealed he was pretty close.

Those famous faces could have linked all the different iterations of the character over the past two decades into one cohesive narrative.

And while we did hear from the filmmakers that “every possible scenario,” including that one, had been discussed, the current Spider-Man has added some more info.

Speaking to Joe.co.uk, Holland explained he almost had a cameo, but it didn’t work out.

If you're scared of spiders you probably already know a bunch of ways to keep yourself away from the eight-legged menaces that routinely invade your home.

Now, if you can, there's another way to do it: make sure you don't live in Surrey.

With over 417 spider species living there, the south-eastern county has been named spider capital of the UK.

As if the overpriced pints weren't bad enough.

Each Autumn Surrey seems to provide the perfect conditions for the 417 species, which invades fields, homes, and grassy areas across the county.

That's roughly 60 per cent of the arachnid species living in the UK.

“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will be making his debut as a feature film director on Netflix .

Variety reports that Netflix won the rights to Miranda’s film adaptation of “Tick Tick … Boom!” following “a heated bidding war,” with Andrew Garfield (who played Eduardo Saverin in “The Social Network” and recently won a Tony for his role in the onstage revival of “Angels in America”) in talks to star.

The musical was written by Jonathan Larson, who went on to write “Rent.” It’s an autobiographical story about a composer who’s filled with anxiety and doubt as he approaches the age of 30.

Larson first performed “Tick Tick … Boom!” as a solo show in 1990, and after larson’s death, playwright David Auburn adapted it into a three-actor musical that debuted Off Broadway in 2001.

“Dear Evan Hansen” writer Steven Levenson is writing the movie’s script.

While Miranda is best known for his work on the Broadway stage, he’s also made the move into film, writing songs for Disney’s “Moana” and appearing in last year’s “Mary Poppins Returns.”

p Talk about sweet, sweet ear ambrosia.

On Friday, renowned film composer Michael Giacchino shared a brief 37 second snippet of the main theme from Sony's upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Not only is said theme instantly more memorable than any of the cues from Andrew Garfield's super forgettable Incredible Spider-Man movies, but it honours the classic '60s Spidey animated series in supremely epic style.

Who's ready for your friendly neighborhood you-know-who?

Honestly, I don't know why I'm surprised.

Giacchino's scores may not be as iconic as industry greats like John Williams or Howard Shore, but the New Jersey native has quietly built up a spectacular body of work over the past two decades.

Arriving on screens on Friday (2 February), ’Requiem’ is the BBC’s latest psychological thriller and, trust us when we say this, it doesn’t disappoint.

The story begins with Matilda Gray, a rising star in the classical music world, whose mother suddenly ends her life with no explanation.

In the episodes that follow, Matilda embarks on a journey of discovery, encountering seemingly supernatural events along the way.

And following her outstanding performance, we highly doubt that this will be her last either.

Her film debut was back in 2010

Lydia’s silver screen debut came courtesy of a small role in ‘Never Let Me Go’, the dystopian drama based on Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel.

An unused storyboard for Sam Raimi s cancelled Spider-Man 4 by artist Jeffrey Henderson.

All Images: Courtesy of Jeffrey Henderson

Before Andrew Garfield and before Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi were going to make a fourth Spider-Man movie.

The boards are by artist, writer, and filmmaker Jeffrey Henderson.

We reached out to Henderson to ask about the boards and he explained that the idea was floated of Mysterio being Bruce Campbell s cameo.

It would ve been part of a beginning of the film montage featuring a montage of C and D- list villains that we knew would never be used as main antagonists: Mysterio, the Shocker, the Prowler, the old school-onesie-wearing version of the Rhino, maybe even the Stilt Man, etc.

As for Vulture, he would ve been the main villain and apparently Raimi had some really new and exciting ideas for the character.

According to the latest sensational rumor, the “Joker” actor Joaquin Phoenix and the fan-favorite X-Men character Deadpool are set to join the cast of the second Doctor Strange film titled “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” Other MCU characters like Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man are expected to have an appearance in the film as well.

Daniel has added that Feige wants to cast Phoenix because he wants to add those actors in the film who were once considered for specific roles in the MCU.

Feige wants those actors to play such roles in the Marvel multiverse, explored in the upcoming films. As far as Deadpool is concerned, Marvel wants the character to be “self-conscious” in Doctor Strange 2, where he will give comic relief to the fans by making fun of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.Joaquin Phoenix was considered for the role of Doctor Strange before Benedict Cumberbatch became involved.

The director of the film Scott Derrickson said that apart from Phoenix, Ryan Gosling and Jared Leto were also discussed before the role ultimately went to Cumberbatch.

If this is true, then it means both Jared Leto and Gosling might have a role in the second film.It is imperative to understand only a few things are official about the movie at the moment, and the rumors mentioned above should be taken with a pinch of salt.In addition to Phoenix, Feige also wants a new Avengers team in one of the parallel universes where we would see different actors take on Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, etc.

Feige has mentioned explicitly that he only wants those actors who were once in talks with Marvel for a role in the MCU.

Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man returns to the big screen next summer, and we re already starting to see footage and concept art from the movie as Marvel began to hype it up at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend.

While the cast and crew began filming Spider-Man: Homecoming a little more than a week ago, director Jon Watts and cast members brought along a preliminary teaser trailer using whatever scrounged up footage already exists.

The studio also released concept art today featuring Spidey himself fighting off super villain The Vulture in an all-out dog fight.

The fans seemed to thoroughlu enjoy the trailer, which can sort of be seen through footage someone recorded while at the event.

The movie, which follows 10th grade Peter Parker in what will probably be the first true superhero coming of age film, is set for a July 7, 2017 release, and is being produced by Marvel and Columbia Pictures.

Sony Pictures is along for the ride as the distribution company.

Since the 1980s, bright orange parts of a novelty Garfield phone have been steadily washing up on the Iroise coast of Brittany in France.

Nobody knew where the Garfield phones were coming from, and locals had no choice but to continue collecting pieces of the famous fat cat for 35 years.

According to the BBC, the mystery was finally solved this week, when a lost shipping container filled with Garfield phones “in a more complete condition than any found before them,” was discovered in a secluded sea cave accessible only during low tide.

Residents had long suspected the phones came from a shipping container, but had never been able to find it.

Then recently, the anti-litter group Ar Vilantsou declared the phones a symbol of plastic pollution on the beach, launching the Garfield phones as the face of their media campaign this year (honestly, I would be pretty fed up too, seeing this smug cat’s pupil-less face in the sand everyday).

The campaign worked, because it caught the attention of a local farmer named René Morvan, who recalled seeing the first Garfield telephone after a storm in the early 1980s.

However, after performing the requisite dance of hard to get, Michael Keaton is officially on board to play the villain in Spidey s latest reboot, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Vulture is also the reason Parker got his job as a photographer, charged with getting a picture of the villain.

This will be Keaton s first role in a superhero film since the second of Burton s genre-bending flicks hit theaters in 1992.

The script is written by Francis Daley with production from Amy Pascal, Jonathan Goldstein, and Kevin Feige.

Sony has held exclusive rights to the character for decades, and has pushed out two franchises, including three films with Toby Maguire in the lead role, and a dual-film reboot starring Andrew Garfield.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is slated for release July 7, 2017.
