The growing number of agents to provide better end user experience, increasing need to measure business impact of end user experience, and changing end user expectations are major growth factors for the EUEM market. The EUEM products provide built-in user experience metrics and actionable insights to proactively alert enterprises of all client-side issues. Two approaches are followed while monitoring end user experience, namely, synthetic monitoring and real user monitoring. All this data obtained from monitoring the various metrics is used in providing a better end user experience. As the benefits of adopting EUEM are becoming more evident, more companies are expected to implement EUEM products and services.

Angular is a framework for building application using web technologies like HTML, CSS, and typescript.

Angular empowers developers to build applications for browsers, mobiles, or desktop.

Angular is a client-side JavaScript-based framework that follows the MVC (Model View Controller) architectural pattern which is originally founded and maintained by Google but now it’s open-source so anyone can contribute to it.

It comes with the approach of SPA (Single Page Application) where we can develop and test the various application stick to the single framework.

Would love to hear from anyone who has experience working at an advertising agency and then going client side for marketing.

My background is in account management on the agency side and I am looking to move over to client side.

I'd like to be a brand manager.

I'm aware of the small things that change (work/life balance, hours, who you report to, etc.).

I'm more interested in the bigger picture.

What used to "keep you up at night" on agency side and how has that changed now that you're on client side?

Fearing that their digital privacy could be at increased risk from state actors following the Trump victory, more and more people reportedly seem to be opting for encrypted communication platforms like ProtonMail which announced that it has seen an influx of new users since the results were announced.

ProtonMail is an encrypted-email service which uses client-side encryption to protect email contents and user data before they are sent to ProtonMail servers.

Messages are encrypted at all times and are also transmitted in encrypted format between the company's servers and user devices.

NodeJS is used to develop applications that make extensive use of the ability to run JavaScript both on a client as well as the server.

It uses a single threaded event loop to handle requests.

As a result, it is highly scalable and the load intensity in the server is not as much as PHP.

Before NodeJS, Javascript was only used for client-side development.

Separate devs had to be hired for backend and frontend.

One can use NodeJS in the front end, back end as well as in mobile development.

Tech firms have an obligation to guarantee the integrity of their applications, but it seems that many are failing to do so, and risk compromising their users as they fall prey to client-side or browser hacks.

An example is the GozNymin malware, a hybrid of two strains of known malware, targeted the business banking and credit unions sector and stole around $4 million from 24 US and Canadian banks in April 2016.

Portuguese tech entrepreneurs Rui Ribeiro and Pedro Fortuna, founders of Porto-based web security startup Jscrambler, believe they have developed a solution that tackles the hidden dangers of this client-side hacking, a threat that many businesses are surprisingly still unaware of.

Ribeiro says: We searched the market and found there was no tool capable of protecting our JavaScript, so we created one.

Since then, it has evolved in terms of resilience, potency and efficiency, thanks to a lot of investment in R In its 4.0 version, Jscrambler is a full client-side protection and monitoring solution that ensures that users can run apps safely, even in hostile environments."

Surprisingly, many businesses are still unaware of this threat to their security, as Fortuna explains.

Agencies aren’t the only one struggling with diversity issues.

The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) announced the finding of its inaugural “Scorecard” evaluating diversity among chief marketing officers of its client-side members at its Brand Masters Conference in Dana Point, Calif. today and while the findings suggest some progress with gender diversity, ethnic diversity lags behind.

The ANA survey tallied chief marketing officer roles and equivalent positions among the group’s 747 client-side marketer company members.

45 percent of the chief marketers surveyed were female, 55 percent male, a figure that seems to show signs of recent progress.

Still, certain categories fared better than others.

While 47 of 88 banking and financial services CMOs in the survey were female, only 25 of 77 CMOs in the food and beverage category were.

Microsoft’s Azure Storage service has added an option to host static websites comprised of not much more than HTML, JavaScript and other client-side goodies.

AWS has had this since February 2011.

The new Azure service is also very similar to AWS’ effort: both ask you to pop some files in the cloud, tell the bucket they’re in it holds HTML, derive a resolvable URL and start serving a web page.

“So what?” you could well ask: there’s a zillion other ways to build a basic website!

The reason for Azure adding this service is to create a serverless Azure hosting option and therefore to offer a new way to build serverless web apps.

That’s possible because the new service plays nice with Azure Functions, Microsoft’s serverless offering.

Client side plugins are inherently more prone to problems than Server side integrations. All that said we believe there is value to a Rep by installing these Plugins to GMail, they give you access to Salesforce data where you work most.

Facebook s efforts to make News Feed more accessible to all users regardless of the speed or reliability of their internet connections has led to a change in how stories are ranked.

To understand the change, it helps to first know how News Feed stories used to be ranked.

In the past, when a user visited Facebook, the ranking for all possible News Feed stories was calculated on Facebook s servers and sent to the user in the exact order that Facebook s algorithm decided was best.

Last December, Facebook announced that it was changing News Feed to accomodate users with slower connections — but the ranking of stories was still happening on Facebook s servers.

Facebook engineers Alexandru Petrescu and Sami Tas explained this week that they re now able to rank stories on the client side, after they ve been sent from the server — i.e., as they appear on your phone, tablet or computer.

They ve written a fairly technical explanation of this on the company s engineering blog, but there are two sections that do a good job of explaining the change in plain language and what it means for marketers and publishers emphasis added by me :

p Wikipedia’s move to encrypt the entire site has led countries to take a more hands-off approach with regard to censorship, a Harvard study finds

Wikipedia’s move to encrypt its entire website in June 2015 appears to have had the intended effect of reducing government censorship of the project worldwide, a new study has found.

Harvard’s Berkman Klein Centre for Internet and Society found that, overall, there was less censorship of Wikipedia in June 2016 than there had been previous to the move to HTTPS.

The study, Analysing Accessibility of Wikipedia Projects Around the World, examined server-side data provided by the Wikimedia Foundation, as well as client-side data giving a view into what was accessible by users in 15 countries.

The server-side analysis tracked requests for 1.7 milion articles in hundreds of languages from November 2011 to late April 2016, as well as the general number of requests for Wikipedia in each of its languages from May 2015 to June 2016, while the client-sdie analysis took place mainly in June 2016 and covered all of Wikimedia’s 292 language projects.

Researchers then identified events that seemed likely to have been caused by censorship, distinguishing them from a “large number of suspicious events that remain unexplained”.
