Mamma Mia! star Dominic Cooper called on his fans for help after having his fifth car stolen in the space of a year.

The British actor disclosed on Instagram that his new Jaguar had been stolen from his driveway over the weekend.

Sharing a picture of the car on his story, he wrote: “Happy Father’s Day… This has just been pinched. Can’t be far.

“If you’re in North London please keep an eye out. Thank you ever so much.”

Dominic Cooper during an interview at Comic-Con in 2019

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said (via The Sun): “Police received a report of theft of a Jaguar car from an address in Primrose Hill at 9.19pm on Sunday, June 20.

“The vehicle was found in Hackney shortly after 7am on Monday, 21 June.”

As was reported by the Daily Mail, the theft was particularly frustrating for Dominic as it marked the fifth time in a year that he’d had a new car stolen from his property.

Prior to this, thieves had taken his Ferrari, a classic Austin-Healey, a Range Rover and a Jaguar.

Dominic is probably most famous for playing Sky in the musical film Mamma Mia!, a role which he reprised in the 2018 sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again!.

He’s also known for portraying a young Howard Stark in Marvel’s Captain America series, as well as the short-lived TV series Agent Carter and the upcoming Disney+ show What If..?

Earlier this month, it was announced that Dominic would co-star alongside Douglas Booth in the new TV show That Dirty Black Bag, billed by Deadline as a “spaghetti western drama series”.

How do you feel about “Come on, Eileen?” Do you agree with Jesse (Dominic Cooper), Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), and Tulip (Ruth Negga) that it’s both awful and impossible not to sing along with?

Or were you distracted by the fact that this trailer includes a dog man?

Preacher’s second season teaser has all of the bonkers, balls to the wall action we’ve come to expect from the series, all set to the Dexys Midnight Runners’ song.

Preacher comes back on June 25th.

Enticing new viewers to a show that has already been airing for a few years can be a tough proposition, so AMC is taking an unusual approach to its Season 3 marketing campaign for comic book adaptation Preacher: warning consumers, “Don’t Watch.”

That’s the irreverent slogan for the out-of-home portion of Preacher’s new campaign, which will launch on Monday ahead of the drama’s Season 3 premiere on Sunday, June 24.

The show is an adaptation of DC Comics imprint Vertigo’s trippy comic series that follows a small-town Texas preacher (Dominic Cooper), his ex-girlfriend (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire (Joseph Gilgun) on a road trip to find God.

“Preacher is incredibly clever, unabashedly weird, extraordinary entertaining and unlike anything else on TV.

It’s not necessarily for everyone, but the fans of Preacher get it and love it,” said Linda Schupack, evp of marketing, AMC and SundanceTV.

“So we wanted to lean in to the outrageousness of the series with an irreverent attitude that felt very true to it.”

Since the comic s inception, Hollywood has flirted with bringing it to the screen.

We can t be limited by finances, Goldberg says.

Religion: It s Controversial Stuff

Preacher makes steaks of sacred cows—and while that s great for its fans, the premise alone is enough to inspire a few angry church signs.

75 Issues, Just One Show

With years worth of comic books to pull from, getting lost in the weeds—or just getting Lost—is a real danger.

We re keeping track of every little mystery we introduce, so we can pay it off in some shape or form.

Dark-Comic Fatigue Syndrome

One of the things people, including us, love about Preacher is that it treats readers like adults, Goldberg says.

The last season of Preacher is on the way, and things are getting downright apocalyptic.

Preacher, AMC’s adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s legendary comic series, is heading toward the endgame as its fourth and final season approaches.

Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), the Preacher himself, and his cohort of weirdos and warriors are facing down the barrel of God’s wrath, looking to reach the Almighty Himself to understand and maybe avert the impending apocalypse, as nuclear hellfire and bloodshed rains down all around them.

Today, IGN has released a trailer for that final season of the journey, first debuting at Comic-Con 2019, and it looks suitably intense, but still suffuse with the manic energy that’s been with the show since the beginning.

Will our beloved anti-heroes be able to respond adequately to the crisis bearing down around them?

Or is everything going to just blow the hell up?

The Preacher Parody

One of the more intriguing and highly anticipated new TV shows of the summer is AMC s The Preacher.

Set to premiere this coming Sunday, the show follows former criminal Jesse Custer played by Dominic Cooper who, in an effort to get his life back on track, returns to his Texas hometown to become a preacher.

Developed by Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen and Sam Catlin, AMC has been promoting the series hard in recent weeks.

Commercials for the show are plentiful and AMC just this week released video of the first four minutes of the first episode.

Seth Rogen wasn t satisfied with just being executive producer and director of the new AMC original series, Preacher, the video description reads.

For those intrigued in what may very well be AMC s next hit show, we ve already reviewed the first four episodes and, suffice it to say, this is definitely a show worth keeping an eye on.

We're three seasons into what some Ars Technica staffers consider the best TV show based on a DC Comics series: Preacher.

The sacred and profane collide on a regular basis in this violent, cartoony adaptation of comics created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon in 1995.

We got personal closure for our main protagonist and a few breadcrumbs to hint at a possible fourth season, despite that familiar mix of low ratings, critical accolades, and a fervent fandom.

Based on the DC comic series created by Ennis and Dillon, Preacher follows the madcap adventures of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper of Mamma Mia and Captain America), the titular preacher (and former con artist) who inexplicably becomes the chosen host for Genesis, aka, the embodiment of the Word of God.

This grants him the power to force people to do whatever he wants, including accidentally sending poor Eugene Root (Ian Colletti)—nicknamed "Arseface" because of a failed shotgun-suicide left him with a badly puckered maw—to Hell.

In the first season, Jesse teamed up with Tulip and Cassidy against a pair of bumbling angelic agents—members of an organization called The Grail—sent to retrieve Genesis and bring it back to Heaven.

It's Team Jesse versus the Grail, as a vengeful God vows to bring on the apocalypse, in the fourth and final season of Preacher, AMC's adaption of the DC comic series created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon.

Preacher follows the madcap adventures of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), the titular preacher (and former con artist) who inexplicably becomes the chosen host for Genesis, aka, the embodiment of the Word of God.

This grants him the power to force people to do whatever he wants, including accidentally sending poor Eugene Root (Ian Colletti)—nicknamed "Arseface" because of a failed shotgun-suicide that left him with a badly puckered maw—to hell.

Jesse and the gang spend much of season two in New Orleans, stalked by more Grail agents and a soul-less assassin dubbed the Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish) as they search for a missing God (Mark Harelik).

Season three finds the team splintering, as Jesse finds his way back to his childhood home, Angelville, to confront his voodoo queen gran'ma, Marie L'Angelle (Betty Buckley).

By the season finale, the Grail leader, Herr Starr (Pip Torrens), has kidnapped Cassidy—knowing Jesse and Tulip will try to rescue him—and amassed an army at Masada to greet them.

This weekend, Preacher premieres on AMC, the network that gave the world Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, and the new show seems poised to up the ante when it comes to intense — and likely controversial — subject matter.

An adaptation of writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon s hit comic book series of the same name, Preacher casts Captain America: The First Avenger and The Devil s Double actor Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer, a small-town Texas preacher who gains an extraordinary, supernatural power that sends him on a wild and occasionally terrifying adventure.

Ennis celebrated series tackled some heady themes over the course of its 75-issue run, including organized religion, redemption, and the nature of good and evil, and the series path to the screen goes back nearly two decades at this point.

Many comic readers are already well-acquainted with Jesse Custer s crazy journey, but as with any story making the leap from page to screen, the show is likely to earn Ennis reluctant hero and his supporting cast more than a few new fans in the months to come.

the show s controversial religious themes.

Rounding out the cast is Oscar nominee Jackie Earle Haley Little Children , who plays the owner of a local slaughterhouse, Odin Quinncannon.

The Warcraft movie is nearly here, and if you don t know your Gul dans from your Garonas, everything in the trailers probably looks monstrously confusing.

Whether you ve never touched it or sunk hundreds and hundreds of hours into the insanely popular MMORPG over the past 12 years it s been running, odds are you have heard about the pop culture phenom at some point or seen that South Park episode about it .

But it also has a bit of a sci-fi twist.

In actuality, they re invading because Gul dan has sold their souls to the Legion, who just enjoy invading worlds a lot.

In the movie the most obvious Fel magic isn t really magic, but blood magic; Gul dan gives demonic blood to the orcs to drink, with promises of it giving enhanced strength... but he fails to mention it also a turns the brown orcs skin a more traditionally orc-y green and b makes them supplicant to the control of the Burning Legion.

Evil manipulators whose existence stretches back to the dawn of time in Warcraft s universe, the Legion s demon hordes basically tore across the galaxy, destroying planets and enveloping subjugated races into its folds.
