After their famous game Death Stranding, the fan following for the Kojima production has increased a lot.Kojima is a Japanese famous video game director, writer, and designer best known for his games such as Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, the Phantom pain, and the latest Death Stranding.

Hideo Kojima split from the Konami in the year 2015 and then he founded its own company, Kojima Productions.

However, the main cause for their split is not officially announced by either organization. There are numerous facts that can be written or told about Hideo Kojima; some of them includes the P.T.

One of the most exciting facts that laid out the stardom and the popularization of Mr. Hideo Kojima and Kojima productions is that Mr. Kojima is the most followed game director on Tweeter and Instagram through the world.

He also won two Guinness world for that achievement. After a glimpse of the tweet of Mr. Kojima from their Twitter page, the fans are super excited because Kojima Productions never lets the fan unsatisfied.

He mentions that he was watching a couple of horror films to awake his horror soul from the sleep.

Hideo Kojima made an appearance at the San Diego Comic Con over the weekend, tweeting beforehand: We recommend to watch, as we might have something new to show you."

Suggesting we may get a glimpse of the mysterious 'Death Stranding.'

While the Metal Gear Solid Maestro did technically show off the first half-a-minute of his upcoming title, the same 30 seconds of footage will precede all future Kojima Productions games.

We still haven t seen any gameplay footage from Death Stranding; instead, Kojima unveiled his company s logo movie – a short clip that will play before each of his titles.

Unsurprisingly, it s as extravagant as you d expect from Kojima, with its otherworldly/underwater setting and leaping holographic whale.

The spacesuited figure in the clip is Ludens, the Kojima Productions mascot modeled on Kojima, apparently who, as reported by Polygon, is getting his own line of action figures.

You won't need a PlayStation console to play Kojima Productions' Death Stranding.

While Sony is still publishing the only console version of the game, due next month, Kojima Productions and 505 Games announced today they are collaborating on a PC version of the title, due in the "early summer of 2020."

Hideo Kojima announces Death Stranding, his first game since leaving Konami

That may come as a surprise to some, given the way Sony has marketed the title for years now.

Death Stranding was first revealed with great fanfare as a part of Sony's 2016 E3 press conference (then again, Shenmue III got similar treatment in 2015 but is also coming to PC this year).

At that time, a Sony press release announcing the game noted that the company "will continue to expand the software portfolio with an attractive title lineup and deliver entertainment experiences that are only possible on PlayStation" (emphasis added).

Hideo Kojima has carefully cultivated an air of mystery around Death Stranding, his first game since leaving Konami in 2015.

Two trailers have so far been released, revealing that the game will star Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro, and offering an idea of how the final product may look in Guerrilla Games' Decima Engine.

During a presentation held at industry conference Siggraph 2017, Guerrilla Games' principal tech programmer Giliam de Carpentier and Kojima Productions' Kohei Ishiyama discussed the engine powering Death Stranding.

The presentation included two short clips showing off a system developed by Kojima Productions for layering fog over an in-game environment and representing dense atmospheric conditions.

The second of these videos uses a piece of scenery from Death Stranding's second trailer.

Unless that is, there's some hidden meaning or message conjured by genius artistic visionary Hideo Kojima that our pathetic minds can't even comprehend.

Hideo Kojima has a reputation for making games that feel cinematic, and his upcoming game Death Stranding certainly seems to be no exception.

Given Kojima’s interest in film, it’s hardly surprising that many of his games have a certain cinematic quality to them, but it may not be long before we see Kojima and his team look toward making actual movies.

That’s the plan anyway, with Kojima revealing in a new BBC documentary about Death Stranding that his company will begin making movies at some point in the next few years.

Presumably, Kojima Productions will continue to make video games too since those have been Kojima’s bread and butter for the past 30 years, but he envisions a future where games and movies are competing with each other for a slice of the streaming pie.

“In the future Kojima Productions will start making films,” Kojima said in the documentary.

“If you can do one thing well, then you can do everything well.

According to a Wednesday report in the Nikkei Asian Review newspaper, Konami is apparently blacklisting former employees in the Japanese video game industry.

The company is particularly targeting those who work for Kojima Productions, which was founded in 2016 by Hideo Kojima, who used to be a top designer at Konami.

The video game giant behind the Metal Gear Solid series, among others, has been in something of a shift over the last two years, as it has transitioned from a console-focused company to a mobile-focused one.

The Japanese newspaper wrote that two months ago, an unnamed Kojima Productions executive applied for Kojima to join ITS Kenpo, a health insurance company that focuses on the gaming industry.

That application was denied, apparently because the chair of that company’s board, Kimihiko Higashio, is also a board member at Konami.

Furthermore, according to the article, Konami is pressuring other companies not to hire its former employees.

The destruction nearly kills Big Boss, the villain-protagonist of the game, putting him in a coma for years.

It began to segway away from traditional major game development, putting a wedge between Konami and Kojima Productions, its former flagship studio.

But where The Phantom Pain follows Big Boss, Survive's first and perhaps most interesting gesture is to focus instead on the soldiers under his command.

In a bizarre twist, some of these soldiers, along with some of Mother Base itself, are pulled through an interdimensional wormhole into the wasteland world of Dite (the Dante's Inferno reference is both intentional and thoroughly overexplained, in true Metal Gear fashion), whose inhabitants have been turned into monsters by some unknown, crystalline parasite.

Metal Gear under Kojima Productions always had a balance of mundane and magic, military paranoia and freakish science fiction, but the balance has never been as tipped in one direction as it is here.

Even ignoring the unfortunate political implications of labelling re-used environmental designs, originally meant to represent Afghanistan and Angola as a "wasteland," it's a distinctly uncanny locale.

In the trailer, a quote from William Blake introduces a strange world: "To see a world in a grain of sand / and a heaven in a wildflower.

Then we see a naked man with one handcuff around his wrist pick up a naked, crying baby and begin to cry, but the baby quickly disappears leaving only black oil on the man's hands.

He watches oily baby footsteps but no baby walk away from him, and he gets up and walks across a desolate beach peppered with dead whales.

The man clearly looks like that guy from The Walking Dead, and sure enough, Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on the AMC TV show, is listed in the Kojima Productions credits.

Kojima Productions has said that its first game will be PS4 exclusive and developed in collaboration with PlayStation, but subsequent games may or may not be exclusive to Sony's console.

Today's news included an announcement that major Sony developer Mark Cerny is on the dev team, however, so its Sony exclusivity may be a little more likely at this point.

It appears that developers at Konami left a secret message of support for series creator Hideo Kojima in spin-off game Metal Gear Survive, following his high-profile departure from the studio following the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in 2015.

When Kojima parted ways with the company he left behind the 30-year-old series, which returned last week with the release of Survive, a multiplayer-focussed survival game for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Kojima has since re-established Kojima Productions as an independent studio and begun work on mysterious new project called Death Stranding with Sony.

The secret message appears early on in the game, when players glimpse a clipboard featuring their character and the Metal Gear-style codenames of fellow soldiers, such as 'Midnight Falcon' and 'Dire Gibbon'.

Eagle-eyed Reddit users spotted that the second initials of a succession of the names spell out "KJP Forever", or "Kojima Productions Forever".

This is followed by the names 'Bastard Yota' and 'Cunning Yuji' in reference to Metal Gear Survive's director Yota Tsutsumizaki and producer Yuji Korekado.

I m aiming to keep the staff less than 100 people, Kojima explained.

He alluded to huge, Hollywood productions where more than 1,000 people can work on the same film, which can end up muddling the final product because not everyone is able to be on the same page.

With a team of 100, Kojima can have direct lines of communication with everyone working under him and maintain a coherent vision for the project, which is particularly important for an auteur designer such as himself.

During the discussion, he mentioned that as he is assembling developers and technology, he is also touring other studios around the world to get inspiration about what kind of studio he wants to make/create.

Soon after formally announcing his departure from Konami, he announced that his new studio, Kojima Productions — not to be confused with his defunct Konami-owned studio, also called Kojima Productions — had lined up an exclusive agreement with Sony to launch a brand new franchise on the PlayStation 4.

Despite a fraught development process and what felt like an unfinished second act, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was a stunning testament to Kojima s decades as a designer, and easily one of the best games of 2015.

Resident Evil 7 is in development and will make an appearance at the E3 2016 gaming expo next month, according to a gaming industry consultant in Japan.

According to Tokyo-based Dr. Serkan Toto, who is building a reputation for breaking big gaming news, the long-rumoured title will be make a triumphant return to the franchise's "horror roots.

Toto s impressive track record suggests the information is credible, but until Capcom makes the announcement at E3, we d treat this as a rumour.

The last game in the series, Resident Evil 6, was released in 2012 and earned a credible 7/10 rating from TrustedReviews.

Last summer Capcom also confirmed it is giving the classic 1998 Resident Evil 2 title a full remake, caving to years of demands from gamers.

Do you still hold out hope Capcom's flagship series can recapture its glory days?

Death Stranding is the new game from Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear Solid, from his new independent production company Kojima Productions, in collaboration with Sony.

And he s bringing a pal along: Norman Reedus, The Walking Dead s Daryl, who was collaborating with Kojima on the cancelled Silent Hills before his ouster from Konami.

In the trailer shown at E3, Reedus character was extremely scarred and very naked.

It s a trippy, uncomfortable, beautifully insane trailer, in the grand Kojima style.

Mark Cerny, the architect of PlayStation 4, is also working on the game.

And here you were expecting him to do Knack 2.

The next game by Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions, Death Stranding, will be launching before 2019, the developer has teased.

Reported by IGN, Kojima told fans at Tokyo Games Show this past weekend that his new game will be out before the 2020 Olympics.

"To go a little further, there is a movie called Akira, and it will be out before the year in which Akira is set."

Akira is a Japanese animated film set in a futuristic vision of Tokyo, Japan during 2019, which eerily predicted that Tokyo would host the 2020 Olympic Games way back in 1988.

Kojima is clearly a big fan, choosing this as the closest landmark for the release of Death Stranding.

During Sony s Tokyo Games Show press conference last week, Kojima confirmed that Death Stranding will be an open-world action game with online elements.
