When ZUK launched the Z2 Pro we did wonder why they had jumped straight to a Pro model, well that question has been answered with reports that a standard ZUK Z2 will also launch. The above image is a teaser to the upcoming ZUK Z2 which will be placed and priced below the current Z2 Pro so starting at less than 1999 Yuan .

In fact the Z2 might be the new name for the Z1 Mini we heard about a few months back.If the Z2 is the new name for the Z1 Mini then the device will feature a Helio P10 chipset, 4.7-inch HD display and have options for either 2GB 16GB or 3GB 32GB.

Of course this is a big maybe, and in all honesty we would prefer the Z2 to be just a slightly down specced Z2 Pro, perhaps with a Snapdragon 617, 3GB RAM and a price of around 1499 Yuan. What we can see from the image is that the ZUK Z2 will retain USB Type C, a physical home button, and will be constructed with an alloy chassis with 2.5D glass display on the front. What do you think of this upcoming ZUK model?

Fitness bands are made for tracking your activities, most of which happen to take place outdoors.

This data is, of course, relayed back to your Microsoft Health app so that you can see and analyze those pieces of information as part of a bigger whole.

You can even add points of interest along your way to help you remember your trek, or even share them with others.

For example, it will nudge you when it's time to rehydrate yourself or eat something to maintain your energy and health levels at maximum.

It also puts the UV monitor to use by alerting you when exposure is above safe limits.

These new hiking features will arrive via a Microsoft Health app update coming soon.

Amazon s released AWS instances packing 2TB serving mega memory-hungry workloads such as SAP HANA.

X1 instances use four Intel Xeon E7 2.3GHz processors with 10Gb per second of dedicated bandwidth and large L3 caches targeting high-performance, memory driven apps.

According to AWS, these big bandwidth, mega-memory instances are ideal for running in-memory databases like SAP s HANA, plus Apache s Spark or Presto.

The news comes in the wake of SAP announcing HANA is now ready as a certified – and therefore supported – option on Microsoft s AWS rival, Azure.

X1s were already slated for delivery in the first half of 2016 but AWS was keen to point out SAP HANA on AWS was, all the same, just better.

X1 instances are certified and available for SAP S/4HANA, Business Suite on HANA SoH , and Business Warehouse on HANA.
