Before using any cleaning solution on your carpet to remove the gravy, you will want to scrape off any excess gravy so that all that remains is the liquid portion of the stain.
If there is still some of the gravy stain left, sprinkle baking soda over it and then let the baking soda sit for roughly 10-15 minutes or so.
