Here is a clear statement from Ministry of Human Resource Development.
The above clarification should put an end to speculations and fears about what the Modi government may do to the Indian languages.
It promised to “launch a Language Translation Mission that will enable ready translation of English text in Science & Technology and humanities in any of our languages.
It has proposed a National Task Force to study the status of all written and spoken languages and dialects in India besides promising to work towards revival and promotion of vulnerable or extinct dialects and languages.
Thus, the Modi government is committed to catering to the regional aspirations that includes language as well.
It strongly argues for the availability of high-quality science and technology books in the regional languages including the tribal languages.

Throughout the history of independent India, one of the toughest decisions for the Indian government has been to take action against erring and non-performing public servants.
One, the power, though diluted after an amendment to the Constitution, they draw from articles 308-314 (Part 14) of the Indian constitution which provides them constitutional safeguards.
In this background, if actions are taken against the non-performing officers, it is no less an achievement for the central government.
In a determined fashion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been on a journey to clean-up the system.
During his tenures both as Chief Minister of Gujarat and Prime Minister of India, PM Modi has always been known as a tough taskmaster and a leader who can take action against non-performing officials.
On these lines, the Modi government on June 10, 2019, sacked 12 senior tax officers for reasons like corruption and misconduct.

The Punjabi language is the heredity of Pakistan and India and is the most spoken language in rural parts of both these South Asian countries.
Almost all of the Japanese native speakers live in Japan, and the language is quite unique since the script consists of three different alphabets, hiragana, and katakana (transcript for foreign words) as well as Kanji (Chinese characters).
However, these speakers are concentrated in Japan only, and very few of them who migrated to other countries like the Philippines and Brazil can be found speaking it.
