October 18, 2019: K T Rama Rao, minister of IT & Industries, Telangana inaugurated ‘HMDA ANCON Logistics Park’ at Mangalapally situated along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) of Hyderabad on October 11, 2019.
While the under-construction logistics park at Bata Singaram will be launched in few months, eight new will be coming up all along the 158 km eight-lane ORR expressway that encircles Hyderabad.
Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority and the US-based infrastructure development company ANCON Construction jointly build the first-ever logistics park in the state under a Public-Private Partnership.
The minister during his inaugural speech stressed upon the state government’s priority for industrialisation and logistics as one of the 14 areas under its industrial policy.
