

It is one of the most remarkable and popular peaks in the Garhwal Himalayas, Uttarakhand.
Kedarkantha is a high mountain peak perched at an elevation of 12,500ft above sea level.
The trek is nestled in the heart of Govind Ballabh Wildlife Sanctuary.
The trek starts from Sankri village and leads to Kedarkantha passing through quaint hamlets, lush meadows, lakes, rocky paths, along with the snow-clad mountains.
A walk in the ankle-deep snow will make this trek a challenging one but it can be easily completed with the help of a good trek leader and team.
The sky changes colors very frequently from orange to crimson red to yellow.
