The directorate of Traffic Polda Metro Jaya set up 232 police personnel to maintain smooth flow of vehicles around the Building People's Representative Council (DPR).
This step is carried out related to the planned rallies of students and the community that was held today.
"The strength of personnel tailored to the needs and the level of security at the front gate of the Parliament Building," said Head of Sub directorate of Development and Law Enforcement Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP M Nasir, quoted by Antara , Monday (30/9).
Officers also shut down Jalan Gatot Subroto direction of Slipi which is passing in front of the gate of the DPR/MPR Building-related student rally today.
The closure of Jalan Gatot Subroto direction Slipi, according to him has been done since three days ago related to student action and plan a Plenary Session of the Inaugural Members of the DPR/MPR period 2019-2024.
