Stepping stones toward your Engineering Career
Engineering as a career has attracted students in India in a big way and a large number of aspirants taking the engineering exams are testimony to this fact. Joint Entrance Examination is carried out every year in two sessions. JEE Main 2020 Examination will start from September 2019.

To choose any of the above option for the Engineering option, the candidates are suppose to first get a bachelors degree in Engineering or technology. There are courses of Bachelors of Engineering (BE), Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelors of Architecture (B.Arch), Bachelors of Planning (B.Planning). All these courses can be applied for the undergraduation courses. The examination for the entrance test is conducted by various organizations. But the most difficult and most acceptable examination. JEE Main 2020 examination is conducted by National testing Agency.
The official notification for JEE Main 2020 will release on the official website of NTA. The examination will be conducted in January 2020. Then again the second session will be conducted in April 2020. These two sessions will be conducted by National Testing Agency. Result of best out of the both session will be considered for the admission purposes in various institutes.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate aspiring for the JEE Main must be eligible to appear in the examination. There are certain criteria like the number of attempts left, year of qualifying the examination, etc. It is necessary to verify all the criteria beforehand. For the examination, only eligible candidates can apply. The application form does not accept any candidate who is not eligible for the examination.
Application Form
The application forms for the JEE Main will release in the month of September 2019 and the candidate can apply till October 2019. Only through the official website, in online mode, you can apply for the examination. The application procedure includes Registration, Login, Form Filling, Document Upload, Fee Submission, and Confirmation Print
Admit Card
After the candidate successfully fills the Application form, they will be waiting for the admit card. An admit card is an authority letter that proves the eligibility of the candidate to appear in the examination. The admit card mentions all the important details of the candidate and the examination they are about to appear in. Admit Card must be downloaded from the official website as soon as they are released on the official website. It is expected that the Admit Card will release in the month of December 2019. Download your admit card by submitting your login credentials on the candidate’s login portal.
Answer Key
The answer key will release on the official website of the National Testing Agency. NTA will first release a provisional answer key and then an official answer key. The candidates can submit their doubts and queries on the official website by submitting fees of Rs. 1000/- per doubt. Make sure that you provide valid proof against all the doubts that you have raised. The official answer key cannot be challenged.
Response Sheet
The candidates would be able to download their response sheet from the official website of the National Testing Agency. The response sheet is the answer sheet of the candidate that they submitted during the online examination. The candidates would require to visit the official website, submit the details and download the response sheet. Along with the response sheet, the question paper will also be released.
Result
Result for the examination will be released for each session separately. JEE Main Result will be declared on the official website of the National Testing Agency. The result will mention the subject wise marks along with the qualifying status of the candidate.
Counselling
JEE Main Counselling will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA. The candidates who qualify the exam will appear for the counselling procedure. If you have not qualified for the JEE Advanced worry not, you can still appear for the counselling for admission in National Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Information & Technology, and Government Funded Technical Institutes.
