Purnawirawan Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) didampingi oleh Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik, Hukum, dan Keamanan Mahfud MD menemui Presiden Joko Widodo pada pagi ini (19/6).
Mereka akan menyampaikan pandangan tentang pentingnya pemerintah untuk terus memelihara persatuan RI serta menjaga kedaulatan dan ideologi negara.Staf Khusus Menko Polhukam, Rizal Mustary mengatakan, mereka bermaksud menyampaikan sejumlah pemikiran dan masukan kepada pemerintah.
"Menko Polhukam jam 10..00 WIB pagi ini diterima Presiden di Istana Bogor bersama para purnawirawan," kata Rizal, seperti dikutip dari keterangan pers, Jumat (19/6).
Rencana pertemuan dengan Jokowi ini bermula saat para purnawirawan TNI menemui Mahfud pada Jumat pekan lalu (12/6) di kantornya.
