Varma was slated to star in Chekhov’s, “The Seagull” in London’s West End. Varma was raised in Bath, Somerset, and is the only child of Swiss mother and Indian father. She is graduated from the royal academy of dramatic art in London and Was a member of a musical youth theatre company
