Whenever you think of on-demand doctor app development, the first thing on your mind is: How much does it cost to develop an on-demand doctor app? Of course, you are right because the budget is very important for any business. However, any mobile app development company will ask you a few questions before quoting you. Do you know why?
Building a mobile app is like building your own home.
Forget a moment of mobile app development and think about building your own home. There are a lot of things you need to decide before building it.
- You must determine the location based on your needs. You need a school and grocery store near you. Or, you want your office and entertainment options within walking distance.
- Then you can decide if you want a flat or a house. Also, how big should it be? How many bedrooms and bathrooms will there be? How much parking space do you need?
- Then, you need to work out the fine details, such as the use of materials, furniture, paints and tapestries, and sanitary ware.
- And, when deciding everything, you need to keep a constant watch over your budget and timeline.
Well, the development of mobile apps is not that different. Instead of building a physical object, you are developing software. The rest of the decision-making process is largely the same. Questions remain -
- Why Do You Need an On-Demand Doctor App?
- Who wants the app for you?
- What do you want to include in your app?
Without knowing the answers to these questions, no one will quote you.
Why Do You Want an On-Demand Doctor App and Healthcare App?
First of all, you need to answer this question because there are so many answers. Do you think your patients can ever contact you via a video call through the Doctor Consultation App? Or, do you want to speed up the OPD queue through the regular doctor appointment booking app? If not, would you like to create an Uber-like health and fitness app whereby patients can seek emergency consultation wherever and when they want? Or, do you want all the on-demand Doctor App that can connect patients, doctors, clinics, hospitals, hospitals, health care staff, pharmacies, and laboratories?
Who needs a health care app for you?
This question is just as important. You need to consider some factors and decide on your target audience. First, you should consider the technical aspect of the operating system. Need two personal apps for your on-demand doctor app or both for Android OS or for iOS OS? Or, do you want a hybrid cross-platform mobile app development that works on both platforms? You can hire an Android app developer or iOS app developer or a hybrid app developer depending on your needs.
On the less technical side, you have to think if you want all the customers. Do patients, doctors, clinics, hospitals, health care staff, pharmacies and laboratories use the same health care app? Or are you a personal app for patients, an app for doctors, an app for health care staff and those apps are connected through an admin portal? If you want these things, you should hire a full-stack website and mobile app development company.
What do you want to include in your app?
