The building of community sanitary complexes is in full stream under Swachh Bharat Grameen after it built more than 10 crore household toilets in rural India.

Have you noticed the Swachh Bharat Gramin dashboard?
Along with the number of toilets built and the number of Open Defecation Free (ODF) Villages etc., a new section has been added to apprise you about the ODF plus status in the villages.
We have already explained how the government is building on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, which among many other things, primarily focused on building toilets in the villages in our previous article Nearly 100% of India Got Household Toilets, What Next?
Considering the fact that sanitation coverage was showing mere 39% when the Swachh Bharat began in October 24 and it has reached to 99.48% now, rest assured that some of the numbers which may seem small now in ODF plus dashboard will certainly grow in the days to come.
On July 13, the Jal Shakti Ministry launched the SLWM Dashboard, ODF-Plus Advisory and the ODF-Plus & Swachh Gram Darpan Mobile Application to foster healthy competition between States and districts undertaking ODF-plus activities.
A two days workshop was also held in the national capital in which the key officials from the states have took part to be updated about the way ahead in ODF plus and water conservation efforts.
