Brand Story One small change!

I had some French polishers come to the house last week - lovely guys who did a great job.To put this in context, we inherited a grand piano and some big old chests that needed some TLC.During the day they were here I felt compelled to ask how their business model works, because surely, in this day and age not that many people have a use for French polishers.They gave me the reason why their business is still up and running and thriving.15 years ago they had to make a choice on whether to continue with French Polishing or look around for something else because French Polishing was, in fact, in decline back then and they realised it wouldn't see them through the coming years.They made the decision that they would become specialists (just like they are in French polishing) in new painting techniques that came to the market that involved wood so now they spray paint lots of furniture to a very high standard and are masters in lots of other techniques that are on the market. It has meant some changes to their machinery, their software and their surroundings. But it's kept them relevant and successful.
