PR Agency Marketing Maven, Hosts Virtual Holiday Party

Bicoastal, award-winning marketing firm Marketing Maven has announced that its holiday party this year will be hosted by Comedy Cloud, the rising Zoom-based company that presents interactive online shows performed by today’s hottest comedians, all with major television credits including America’s Got Talent, Last Comic Standing, Tonight Show, and Comedy Central. Founder Ray Ellin personally selects performers for each show based on each company’s culture and needs. The shows aim to boost company morale and connect remote workers.

The event, in honor of the fall harvest, is slated for Tuesday, November 10 at 5 pm ET and is by invitation only. Marketing Maven staff and guests will be attending.

Comedy Cloud is the brainchild of Ray Ellin, who specializes in producing live, interactive online comedy shows for companies and non-profits. He is an Executive Producer of This Week at the Comedy Cellar on Comedy Central, which recently wrapped its third season. Ellin is also the owner of Aruba Ray’s Comedy Club on the island of Aruba. The venue is number one for Nightlife on TripAdvisor, and recently celebrated its seven-year anniversary, and does approximately 100 shows a year featuring top US comedians on each show.

“We couldn’t be more excited about welcoming Ray to host our holiday event,” said Marketing Maven CEO and President, Lindsey Carnett. “He has truly elevated the growing working from home experience to become a joyous, interactive celebration. We are planning an event filled with employee and client appreciation.”

“I created Comedy Cloud to find a way to continue to entertain people amid the shutdown of live comedy due to COVID-19,” said Ellin. “Our shows allow for a great deal of give and take between our comedians and members of the audience.
