Kendati demikian, Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral menyatakan masih mengevaluasi dampak perubahan harga minyak dunia terhadap harga bahan bakar minyak  atau BBM domestik.

"Terkait harga BBM, saat ini pemerintah masih mencermati dan mengevaluasi terkait perkembangan harga minyak, termasuk rencana pemotongan produksi minyak OPEC+ mulai bulan depan," ujar Kepala Biro Komunikasi Kementerian ESDM Agung Pribadi, Senin (20/4).Agung  menjelaskan,  konflik minyak antara negara OPEC dan non-OPEC yang terjadi sejak awal Maret membuat pasokan berlimpah dan menyebabkan penurunan harga minyak dunia.
