Welcome to the Hunza Valley- a place that’s more peaceful than central Europe. The true paradise residing in the widely spread Karakormal highway can be a comfortable place to stay for a few days. Hunza valley has three geographical subdivisions- Lower Hunza, Upper Hunza, and Central Hunza.

Most travellers know that Hunza is the epitome of Pakistani travel locations. While many foreigners and locals from the other parts of the country know how beautiful the place is, many are still unaware of what they can do in Hunza Valley tour and how they can prepare for it.

So here we are for all the admirers of Hunza Valley who want to enjoy this paradise of earth. The list can be long depending on how long you stay but we have created a list of essential items you may need.

Trekking & Hiking Gear- Hunza valley is full of beautiful and mesmerizing trekking and hiking locations. A few to name are Ultar base camp and Baltit fort. When you come across cities falling between Hunza valley such as Karimabad, there are slightly hilly terrains to walk through where a pair of big boots can be very beneficial.

Food Items & Water Bottle- If you are headed to Hunza valley in a bus, make sure to fill up your food and water stocks. There aren’t a lot of stops along the way to Hunza and chances are that you will starve or quench to thirst if you don’t have a few water bottles and your basic food items.

Local Sim Card- Do not expect many service centres to assist you in the valley with your network. That is why you need to buy a local SIM card from either Gilgit or Islamabad. The best choice is to buy one right when you reach Islamabad. You may struggle with the internet since most parts are still working on EDGE but sometimes 3G is available.

Travel Essentials- There are a few travel essentials you should carry before entering the Hunza valley since a shortage of shops and supplies can affect your journey later. Get your sunblock, spare pair of boots, warm clothes, and other camping gear right before getting into Hunza valley tour.

Pakistani Currency- We know that you already have Pakistani rupees exchanged but make sure to keep ample to Pakistani currency with you as it can get hard for you to find a currency exchange in the valley.

It can be daunting for you to arrange everything when visiting a new country. Not anymore. Visit one of the most popular tourist sites of the country- Hunza valley without any worry with Pak Voyager.
