
Swimming is one of my favorite forms of exercise of all-time.
And it's also a type of working out and relaxation that can benefit tech entrepreneurs in a big way.
Here are some of my favorite reasons to swim:
Great for posture. We spend a lot of time sitting in our chairs, working at our desks. Swimming is a great way to stretch out that poor posture, lengthen out the spine, shoulders and hips.
Accessible. Yes, since Covid started there has been a limit on the number of pools and lanes available. But doing something as simple as picking out the best above ground swimming pool and getting horizontal with zero gravity in the backyard can do wonders for your body (plus it's a short walk from the office!).
Mental break. My favorite part about swimming is the mental health benefit. It's quiet in the water. No email notifications. No text messages. Nobody bothering you. Just you and your thoughts and some much needed silence, which is a great way to hit "reset" on the stress and mental stuff that is going on in the digital world.
