The Delhi High Court will hear a petition, challenging the constitutional validity of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 on Thursday, which came in force on February 25, 2021.The Bench headed by Chief Justice D.N.
Patel will hear the petition, filed by Advocate and author Sanjay Kumar Singh.

The Madras High Court convicted two Advocates guilty of contempt of court on Friday for pursuing vexatious litigation’ to remove a Registrar (Vigilance) by filing a false affidavit accusing her of holding the office without the necessary qualifications.Furthermore, the Court voiced reservations about the plea being published in media outlets before the High Court had an opportunity to rule on it.
The Court stated that such conduct by the concerned lawyers undermines the judiciary’s reputation in the eyes of the public.
