Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is a geophysical method to locate utilities using radio waves and capture the images without disturbing the surface. It is used to find a wide range of items under the surface of the earth like metals, plastic, natural materials, concrete, etc.
Topographical surveys are used to identify and locate the height or depth of any given piece of land and any other features that exists above or below the land. This technology allows us to complete large rural subdivisions faster traditional surveyors.

Shijay Project offers various geophysical surveying services.
From Data Acquisition and Data Processing, to services for Telecom, Civil, Infrastructure and EPC companies, we have a mixed bag.
We also offer Ground Penetrating Radar survey services.Firstly, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a geophysical locating method.
It makes use of radio waves to capture images below ground in a minimally invasive way.
One major benefit that the world is getting from GPR is that it allows teams to pinpoint the location of underground utilities without disturbing the ground. Our GPR device consists of the 3 parts:Control unitAntennaPower Supply Devices run with a wide range of power supplies, be it small rechargeable batteries or vehicle batteries and normal 110/220-volt.
Connectors/adapters are available for each power source type.Few utilities are:Road & Bridges – Measure pavement layer thickness and assess the road structure; Concrete Scanning – Map conduits, Post-tension cables and rebar; Utility Locator – Conduits, Voids, Gas lines, Power cables; Forensic – Finding buried evidences; Infrastructure – Integrity inspection, crack imaging etc; GPR is also used in archaeological survey, mining & quarrying, military, agriculture, forestry, ice & snow regions etc.
Disaster - The National agency for Disaster management (BNPB) has budgeted funds worth Rp 850 billion to the anticipation of potential disaster.
The funding is Ready-Made (DSP) that can be used for disaster management, including those that occur due to extreme weather in Indonesia.
“Not only for hydro-meteorological disasters or transition season, this DSP also applies to any kind of disaster that might occur until the end of this year,” said Agus Wibowo, Head of Data Information and public Relations BNPB in its official statement, Friday (1/11).
Previously, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics agency (BMKG) predicted, the beginning of the rainy season this year the countdown to the new will happen in November-December 2019 to a peak in January-February the year 2020.
This was stated by the Head of the Field of Prediction and Early Warning Weather, BMKG, Miming Saepudin, M. Si in a Press Conference with the Expert and Intelligence Team in the Building Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, Graha BNPB Jakarta, October 31, 2019.

Based on type, geophysical services can be categorized into aerial-based and land-based geophysical surveys.
Land-based geophysical surveys play a vital role in the exploration of various minerals, hydrocarbon sources, oil and gas reserves, etc.
These surveys also help understand geophysical conditions of the ground surface and sub-surface.
Aerial-based surveys capture images by using fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.Based on region, North America led the global geophysical services market with more than 28% share in 2017.

The global geophysical services market is booming with new and emerging opportunities for revenue generation.
Furthermore, the need for seismic operational efficiency, improved quality of earth imaging, and cost effectiveness of geophysical operations is also prompting oil and gas companies to upscale their investments.
It is safe to predict that the aforementioned factors would parlay into generating humongous revenues for the global geophysical services market.
Therefore, the dearth of professionals within geophysics has put pressure on the existing industry, and has taken demand for geophysical services to new and unprecedented heights.
Use of geophysical services for the exploration of hydrocarbons, minerals, and oil reserves shall continue to bring in fresh revenues into the market.
This is an important dynamic of growth for the geophysical services market in North America.
