
RVCE is also known as the Rashtriya Vidhyalaya College of Engineering. It is an autonomous private technical co-educational institute located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
RVCE was established in 1963. By now RVCE has 11 departments of Engineering, a school of architecture, and an MCA department. It is affiliated with VIT, Belgaum. This institute has been teaching basic engineering branch since 1963 but today they are offering 12 Under Graduate and 20 Post Graduate programs respectively.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR RV COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
There are two exams conducted by the Karnataka State Government for getting admission to RV College of Engineering.
- Karnataka CET or K-CET- 50% of total seats in RV College are fixed for the Karnataka domicile students. Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts this exam every year in the month of April. For getting admission in RVCE, you need to rank less than five thousand in K-CET.
- COMED-K Entrance Exam- Only 30% of the total seats of RV College are reserved for the All India Quota. COMED is a private organization that conducts this online examination. For getting admission through COMED-K, you have to score a rank of less than seven to eight thousand.
DIRECT ADMISSION IN RV COLLEGE THROUGH MANAGEMENT QUOTA
If your marks are not as good as per the cutoff, there is another option for you. The option is ti take admission through the management quota. Management Quota Admissions will be completely based on 12th marks. 12th marks should be more than 45% in PCM(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
RV College of Engineering charges around 2 Lakhs for direct admission through management quota. We also have to pay an extra amount as a donation. It is called a development charge for getting direct admission to RC College of Engineering.
