SEO Tips - Why Using Micro Niches is Smart

So, another article on why employing click here techniques is a terrible disease plaguing the internet; one must cure it as quickly as possible. Utilizing too vague and general, vague and ineffectual hyperlink phrases will most likely have a number of adverse effects on your site:

What exactly is it that you should do to boost your site's ranking? I would submit to you that you ought to use a program called Backlinks Xpert; it's a powerful link generation tool. It provides a simple methodology for generating highly rated, high-quality backlinks for your site. You can use the tools available on this system to identify and target all of those directories that will help you increase your page rankings: Bookmarking sites, article submission sites, social bookmarking sites, etc. The list is almost endless, but what is really great is that all of these services and many more are highly recommended, and totally free for you to use.

So, what does this all mean? Well, it means that if you are using vague, ineffectual hyperlink phrases such as "click here" and "learn here", you are doing yourself a disservice. Because you will be attracting negative attention and potentially even banning your site from the search engines entirely! How can this be possible? Well, let me explain:

Hyperlinks work as a form of doorway, and there are three basic principles that govern them: they draw people through them to your digital presence, they tell others about your digital presence, and they connect people to your digital presence. Your digital presence can be nothing more than an ecommerce site that offers a few interesting wares, or it could be a robust and well designed website with high-search engine optimization. What's more, it could be a blog with a few well-positioned links sprinkled through. However, none of those three things will matter unless you have a way for readers to actually find you, and that is where this all goes down. If you are not aware that you are sending people away from your page, then you're not really using your links to promote yourself.

That said, we are discussing a positive aspect of links, and this is in regards to user experience. With the introduction of smart phone devices, the whole concept of browsing the internet has changed drastically. Smart phone users now scan websites, read articles, and engage in all sorts of digital interactions while on the go. In the past, all of that was done via desktop computers using web browsers. Today, that has all changed, and now it is just as easy to browse the internet on a smart phone as it is on a desktop computer.

One of the ways this has all come about is by using vague phrases such as "click here" or "go here". When these phrases appear on a website, the reader doesn't always know what the page is about or where it goes. They just see an address or hyperlink. This is fine if the website in question is about something that the average person would be able to understand. However, what happens when the reader is looking for information about hyperlinks? Well, what happens is that they will read the title, which is only two words long, but the rest of the site content is written in another language that the typical smart phone can't understand.

Now, if the purpose of the site is to market a product, it is imperative that they be able to find that product. This is where smart phones are very useful. As mentioned before, they can scan hyperlinks, and they can also use them to navigate. However, when you are trying to promote a website, you must realize that you can't use vague phrases like "click here" because the smart phone doesn't know what the site is about, and it doesn't really matter because no one else will either.

So, instead of focusing on using "click here" hyperlinks, you should focus on writing the website content in the language of the visitor. Remember, if the visitor can't understand your content, chances are they will bounce from the site as well. It's better to write in the language of the customer than it is to assume they will understand. Let them do their own translating!
