As soon as the microfibres of the filter elements of the Oil Mist Separator are almost completely saturated by impurities and lubricating oil particles, the filter cartridges need to be replaced. The vacuum pressure gauge of the filter system indicates when to replace the filter cartridges.
The replacement is conceivably easy. After a few minutes, your Oil Mist Separator is ready for use again and ensures a constant vacuum and the consistent quality of the lubricating oil.
With a filtration efficiency of 99.99% and less than 5 mg/m³ residual oil particles after the filtration, our filter cartridges meet almost all environmental protection requirements. With an oil mist separater filtter you do not only protect your turbine or your employees but at the same time, you are also contributing to environmental protection.

The filter cartridges meet a high standard and have a service life of approximately 2-5 years The microfibre filter elements developed by FRANKE-Filter are responsible for the precise filtration process. Due to their special nature, they guarantee a high filtration efficiency of 99.99% at 0.1 µm for oil mist. Further, the filter cartridges grant a smooth process with a maintenance-free operation time of up to 30,000 operating hours.

The resin has a much higher affinity for calcium and magnesium ions but it will “give up” those when rinsed with water containing a very high concentration of sodium ions (i.e., very “salty” water) and the sodium ions replace calcium and magnesium ions on the resin. Finally, the resin bed is flushed with water to remove excess salt before the bed is placed back into service.
The system of water softening industrial purposes requires the incoming water to travel through a porous resin bed. This resin has the appearance and consistency of tiny plastic beads. These fine beads have been constructed and treated so that each tiny bead is exceptionally porous. The surface area is also permanently chemically altered to be highly attractive to the offending minerals.
The process of industrial water purification and softening, takes water that is un-fit for industrial use, and turns it into water that is free of sediment and contaminants, with the correct pH balance. The expert guidance from WaterProfessionals® will ensure that your industrial water meets or exceeds standards for industrial water purification, passing inspections with flying colors. We will carefully fabricate the best industrial water treatment solution based upon your plant’s needs, its process specifications, and the quantity and flow rate required for your systems.
